The Links Zone

Uhm, I didn't think this page through very well when I did the sidebar which I have to update for each page if I change it (there's ways and means to make it like it's own page which I remember doing forever ago but all that's lost to me now, plus I imagine HTML has moved on since then).

What kind of links does one put in a links page?
My Carrd already links to a bunch of places... stuff I like or am a fan of or want to advertise because I like them maybe?

I suppose that'd make the most sense, it would be nice to give back to things that have inspired or helped me through times... It's something to think on, like I'd certainly want to recommend Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass because that game is a total inspiration to me and the creator is lovely (here's hoping his next game goes super well and also nets Jimmy more attention)

Games to check out:

Jimmy and the Pulsating Mass - a real testament to what one person can do, equal parts funky, funny, interesting and surprisingly spooky, Kasey did a fantastic job making a large unique RPG almost entirely by himself, an absolute legend and inspiration to all indie devs

Pizza Tower - glorious platformer, instant classic, just wonderful, I love it very much

Lethal Company - equally funny, compelling, thrilling and spooky, it's a real treat to play with the right people, then eventually install mods to make some of the clunkier parts of it easier

Vampire Survivors - extremely simple but feels like the most distilled Just Nice To Play experience I've found

Shovel Knight - inspiring, extremely well put together, great characters, fantastic music, such a good vibe

PEPPERED - Very cool, well written, funny platformer set in a world where people stopped dying and all the pros and cons that follow - though this state of affairs is threatened as The God Of Death is about to escape

MOTHERED - Abstract and tantalizing in its strangeness, MOTHERED is an inspired game, and so is the demo version of it that is actually best played after completing the game

Clown Meat - Super Meat Boy style platformer with an interesting story and characters, def try out the demo
